Hi! I'm Sasha Anand, ​​​​​​​a sophomore at Scottsdale Preparatory  Academy.  It is an honor and a privilege to be representing the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in funding the fight against blood cancer. My biggest driver and motivation in joining their campaign has been in honor of my uncle Vivek who was a cancer researcher and surgeon in India before his passing when he was just 34 years old. He truly believed that the next generation is the future of cancer research and application and I’d like to prove him right. I named my team Mission Possible in honor of him, as he believed that anything is possible if you put your mind to it, including one day living in a cancer-free world. ​​​​​​​

This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible in 7 weeks towards LLS's mission and to win the distinguished title Student Visionary of the Year. Every dollar counts in the fund against the fight against blood cancer! Will you help me win this title and change the world? 

Your donation will continue to help LLS fund cutting-edge research and create new treatments that will help increase the survival rates for some forms of cancer. LLS has already helped advance about 70% of FDA-approved blood cancer treatments in the past few years and with your donation, we can change the lives of blood cancer patients around the world! LLS's immunotherapies have also been used to treat various other cancers and have saved thousands of lives every day.
